ALWAYS begin by introducing very small amounts of gum/resin to the charcoal so that you and your pets can get accustomed to it.

The Story...

We have known for a while that musk is known as 'The Killer Scent' when it comes to quality, longevity and smoothness. The only trick was to transfer this wonderful oil from skin application to a wonderful smoke. We initially had no intention on embarking on such a journey as Musk is very VERY expensive. But after a significant amount of peer pressure by our fans, we finally gave in.

To put it into perspective, natural musk is 350400x more expensive then synthetic musk for a reason. The trick was to find a means of creating Sandalwood Mamool disks that would soak and preserve this oil whilst making it affordable for everyone (not to mention finding a supplier with a good quality musk). After months of research, we finally made it!

SCENT PROFILE - SWEET/WOODY/FLORAL

Musk is very complex, rich and deep. When initially burnt, you presented with a strong hit of a deep vanillic musky scent that is quite floral. There is a very small amount of spice that makes the top note much vibrant. The final afterburn is a deep woody scent of Sandalwood that is intertwined with this sweet floral mix.

  • For much more slow release of your fragrance, burn on a low heat or a mica plate if you are using an electric censer. For a charcoal censer, burn your item over a piece of tin foil or sheetmetal rather than putting directly on the coal.

If you find the incense scent is overpowering you could:

    • Extinguish the flame.
    • Open windows to encourage circulation.
    • Circulate the incense stick around the house.
    • Leave it in a different room and let the scent waft over through normal air ciculation.

  • Always keep incense/bakhoor lit in a well ventilated place. Always keep a close eye on incense that is burning and ensure to keep all burning charcoal out of reach of your pets and children. Pets can also be quite susceptible to incense/bakhoor, especially if they have not been accustomed to it. Our products do not contain any synthetics and are safe to use but always keep an eye out for your pets and children's wellbeing.
